speedData from Ofcom show that superfast broadband (offering download speeds of 30Mbit/s or more) is now available to some 24 million (i.e. 83%) of UK premises, compared with 75% last year. It has now been taken up by almost 8 million (27%) of all premises in the UK, up from 21% in 2014. The percentage of premises not taking up broadband is now 22%, down from 27% in 2014.
