In the most recent Android security test from AV-comparatives, ESET scored 100%, not missing any malware or reporting any false positives.
AV-comparatives tested over 200 antimalware apps, which could be downloaded by anyone on the Google Play Store, only 84 of the apps detected over 30% of malicious apps used in the test.
This shows that you can’t trust just any security app, going with a trusted vender who has a strong track record is the best idea.
