This story is typical of many of our customers here at Pink Connect – as the company grows how can they maintain a professional, effective and cohesive broadband and telecoms solution?
A quantity surveyors based on the outskirts of Bristol, had recently won a host of new contracts and found that their existing system was struggling to handle the increased call volumes. With only one inbound line they were dropping calls with many customers complaining that they couldn’t get through – a problem detrimental to their business. Missed calls could mean missed contracts. They needed a way for all their incoming calls to be handled professionally allowing one incoming number which could be routed or conferenced quickly and easily within the team. On top of that, they had a remote worker in Newbury who they wanted to appear as if working directly from the office.
OUR SOLUTION
Our team worked closely with the Marketing Director for the business, to understand their needs to provide a tailor made solution that suited them. After two initial meetings to assess the premises we put forward a few ideas, one of which, we all agreed, suited the business perfectly. We provided a comprehensive overhaul of the existing setup including a brand new phone system connected to both digital and IP Direct Connect trunks. Local broadband speeds are poor so the dual connection offered them a more resilient package as well as being future proofed when fibre optic broadband finally becomes available in the area.
For the Newbury based home worker we provided a Pink Mobile All in One connection meaning that office calls to the mobile are free and they have a virtual number falling in line with the head office. They can also be involved in conference calls from the comfort of their living room.
THE OUTCOME
The company no longer drops calls, customers who contact the office are now easily transferable between employees and the remote employee is able to carry out their work as if office based. On top of this, the newly future proofed telephony system is flexible meaning it can grow as the company does.
