1. Who is pinkconnect?
pinkconnect is a national telecommunications company, offering a complete telecoms solution for businesses in the UK & Ireland: from fixed line voice services, carrier pre-selection, business mobile telephony and Internet connection. 2. Why can pinkconnect
sell Wholesale services?
De-regulation of the telecom industry has given the customer the right to choose their telecoms provider. pinkconnect is a reseller of Wholesale products. This enables us to provision new lines and services to our business customers, also we are able to bill existing lines, at discounted prices. With this relationship we are able to provide a single bill solution.
3. How much does it cost to transfer to pinkconnect?
pinkconnect pays all charges to get your lines and calls live with our services. Simply apply on line or call us on 0800 070 7027.
4. If I choose to transfer my lines to pinkconnect
can I keep my telephone number?
Yes. Your lines stay with Wholesale as they are now but pinkconnect manages your account and bills you instead of BT Retail. You will need no boxes, no equipment or prefix codes to use our services. Just dial…
5. Can pinkconnect
provide new lines?
Yes. pinkconnect can provision new lines and services and in addition upgrade PSTN lines to ISDN and Business Highway.
6. Will the installation be any different from BT?
NO. We simply arrange and manage the installation for you. An Openreach engineer will arrive and fit the equipment accordingly.
The switch
1. Do I need to cancel my old contract with BT?
No, we will notify BT for you. The transfer process is automatic and you won't notice the difference. You might receive a call or letter from BT Retail, trying to win back your account.
2. Will my line rental change?
Our line rentals are 10% less than BT Retail. Unlike BT Retail, we only bill for the month you are in for line rentals whereas BT Retail bill quarterly in advance.
3. When will the switchover be effective?
It should take approximately 20 days from the transfer request.
4. Will an engineer visit our premises?
No, nothing changes in your line. Any changes are made electronically at your local BT exchange.
5. Who fixes any problems?
Once you have called pinkconnect on our Customer Service line, we log a fault with Wholesale. Should the fault require an engineer's visit, an Openreach engineer would be dispatched to your site. Like BT, if the fault is not due to your service but is related to your equipment, any site visit is chargeable.
6. If there is a problem on my line who do I call?
Once your lines are transferred to pinkconnect you should call us direct. Should you call BT you will be told to contact your service provider; pinkconnect.
Billing
1. Why do I have to pay by direct debit?
In order to transfer discounts to our clients, we only work with Direct Debit payments as it reduces administration costs and bad debt risk. If you have any requests, please don't hesitate to ask.
2. Will I receive a final bill from BT?
After your switchover, you will receive a final bill from BT Retail. This will include all call unused charges made before the switch date and a pro rata rebate for the unused line rental (you will have payed quarterly in advance). If BT has charged you in advance for your line rental, you can expect a refund from them.
3. When do I get my first pinkconnect
bill?
Your first bill from us will arrive after the switchover, between the 8th and the 10th of each month.
4. Will I get an itemised bill?
Yes, your bill will provide a detailed list of all calls over 20p. You can also receive a full detailed bill monthly by email at your request.

2. What services do I have in my account? Can I add any new ones?
Your services will probably be listed on your current BT bill. If you need to add or disable any services, please call us on 0845 450 9393 or send us an email to admin@pinkconnect.com.
3. Will I be able to add new lines in the future?
