It's easy to find cheap ADSL packages from large ISPs. Although these broadband connections seem like a great deal, they are unlikely to be suitable for a business.
Cheap broadband is designed for residential customers - this means few users per connection (a family) but in a lot of cases some very heavy usage going on (kids downloading films and streaming videos). As a result these packages are heavily contended and optimum speeds are rarely if ever reached - peak times will see even slower speeds as hundreds log on at lunch time and after school. This is clearly unsuitable for a business relying on a broadband Internet connection.
Pink Connect broadband starts from £19.95 for our basic unlimited up to 8mb package and from £24.95 for our uncontended up to 24mb business packages. We supply static IP addresses at £1.50 per month.
