What is Bonded ADSL?
Bonding generally uses multiple ADSL lines, usually of the same type, to create; a single larger internet connection. This multiplies the physical upload and download capacity of ADSL connections and is an effective alternative to leased lines.
What is involved?
You will need:
- 1 x analogue line per connection
- 1 x ADSL router per connection
- Bonding equipment on the customer's premises
- Bonding equipment on our network
pinkconnect configure and manage your bonded ADSL set up remotely without interfering with the rest of your network. Our system is transparent.
Why choose bonded ADSL?
- Far more cost effective than a leased line.
- Get the speed YOU want from your ADSL connection, add to it later as your requirement increases.
- Redundancy - if one of the multiple connections goes down you can still continue working with all the others.
- You can add or take away lines at any point (subject to contract).
- Perfect for a business using VOIP
