Bonding and Load Balancing
Pink Connect now offer bonding and load balancing options to businesses that require greater bandwidth, redundancy and a cost effective solution.
Using specialised equipment these solutions are highly resilient, credible alternatives to leased lines which tie you into long contracts and cost thousands to install and rent.

What is Bonding?
Bonding uses multiple ADSL lines, usually of the same type, to create a single larger internet connection. This multiplies the physical upload and download capacity of ADSL connections and is a great alternative to leased lines.
What is involved?
You will need:
- 1 x analogue line per connection
- 1 x ADSL router per connection
- Bonding equipment on the customer's premises
- Bonding equipment on our network
Pink Connect configure and manage your bonded ADSL set up remotely without interfering with the rest of your network. Our system is transparent.
Why choose bonded ADSL?
- Far more cost effective than a leased line
- Get the speed YOU want from your ADSL connection, add to it later as your requirement increases
- Redundancy - if one of the multiple connections goes down you can still continue working with all the others.
- You can add or take away lines at any point
- Perfect for a business using VOIP

Load balancing
By load balancing ADSL connections you can vastly improve bandwidth and efficiency for your business.
What is it?
Load balancing shares the data load between 2 x or more ADSL connections, thus making data transfer faster and more efficient.
Whilst bonding creates one large data pipe, load balancing keeps connections separate for specific jobs and spreads the load accordingly. You can also allocate groups of ADSL connections for different uses within your business such as a group for VOIP and another group for browsing.
What is involved?
- One ADSL router per connection
- Load balancing equipment at your premises

Pink Connect can configure and manage your load balancing setup so that it does not interfere with the rest of your network. Again, it's transparent.
Why choose load balanced ADSL?
- Use different connections for VOIP, browsing, downloading, uploading, remote access and office users
- Simple setup
- Cost effective
- Doubles/trebles/quadruples your bandwidth
- Add or remove from the number of connections you have
